We are excited to announce the start of MPS Academy in Spring 2021. MPS Academy is designed to accelerate the development of the serious youth soccer player. After more than a decade coaching throughout the American youth soccer system, playing the beautiful game on three continents, and studying various coaching and player development models, we launched MPS Academy to strive to teach and play the game the “right way”. We provide supplemental training, international playing experiences, and focused individual player development support – all guided by our conviction that to play the game artfully requires a strong technical foundation combined with high soccer intelligence.
MPS Academy small group training is designed for the player who is serious about accelerating their development. This is a 10-week program that will improve the player’s technical and tactical abilities through a progressive development approach. Our methodology follows a structured curriculum that emphasizes positional play, spatial awareness, technical proficiency, and increasing speed of play. Through our training academy, players will improve technically, will understand how to better manage time and space on the field, and will become more influential players on their teams. Serious, competitive players only.
